Born Jonathan, in Jacksonville NC, Black Friday was destined for greatness. After being introduced to HipHop at a tender age, Black Friday motivation spiraled into a lifelong aspiration. Although it’s hard for an indie artist to get a breakthrough in the music industry, Black Friday proves himself to be very ambitious.

With a strong determination to establish himself, Black Friday launched his own record label “365 Entertainment” in Greensboro NC. Black Friday knew that in order for a rapper to be successful, he must be passionate, hardworking, focused and consistent. The aspiring indie rapper, fashions himself with a unique sound and delivery; his lyrics are based on true events and he orchestrates them vividly.

In early March of 2014, Black Friday released his official music video for “How You Gon Act”. Since the release, Black Friday has been getting some major attention from local fans and social media followings. WorldStarHipHop.com picked up the music video and the feedback has been great. Black Friday plans on releasing a follow up track titled “Wassup” in April of 2014.

Black Friday has proven himself to be passionate, hardworking, focused and consistent. Fans and well-wishers are in for a big treat; Black Friday will release the “T.G.I.F” mixtape project late April. One may tune in to Black Friday’s music and videos at the following:
