Reporter Extols the Delights of La Tania Ski Resort

When a reporter and member of the Great Britain Ski Club wrote a piece about her experiences in a local ski chalet, La Tania's hidden secrets were revealed. 

In a piece published on the Ski Club’s website, the reporter in question tells of her adventures skiing, snowshoeing and staying at a luxury ski chalet. La Tania, Courchevel and Méribel, the resorts that make up the Three Valleys area of France, were the chosen backdrop for where all these adventures took place. 

During her stay in this region of France, the writer of the piece took the chance to improve her ski techniques with classes at a local school. She also accepted the challenge of competing in slalom races against the staff of local ski schools and the owner of the ski chalet. La Tania’s pistes, as well as those of Courchevel and Méribel, fortunately proved forgiving enough to allow the reporter to look good. 

The races and ski classes were not, however, the main highlight of this French adventure. According to the author of the piece, that distinction goes to the moment where the group of skiers that made up the tour came across two snakes preserved in alcohol inside glass bottles. Discovered within a ski refuge, these reptiles managed to capture the attention of the entire party, and made their way into the journalist’s report. 

The Three Valleys are one of the most popular destinations for winter sports in France, and each winter season finds thousands of tourists from across Europe looking to book a ski chalet.
