28 June, 2014: Square Enix Final Fantasy XIV takes everyone surprised Sony press conference on Tuesday. During the announcement of the new MMO will be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 console, Square Enix press conference revealed the possibility of the game was released on other platforms.
Speaking at this square, Nobuaki Komoto Director and producer Hiromichi Tanaka discussed a wide range of information in the game, scheduled for a release next year the PS3 and PC. Initial comments that the team "Consider all options at this time, including the Microsoft hardware," of course refers to the release of may on the Xbox 360. Final Fantasy XI MMO fans will get a new game like FFXIV is located in the new world, however; players will be able to choose the same races from older games. Also, the Square will continue to produce content for FFXI next year.
Ordinary gamers will have a home with FFXIV Square is what the industry has learned from World of Warcraft, and expanded upon it with its own unique style.
The company also plans simultaneous release across the world with English, Japanese, German and French are available at launch. Friends around the world can play together as the square is looking to launch the game with the cross-regional and cross-platform server.
