It’s been an Eventful Summer for Designer Andrew Geoghegan.

03, September 2014: Yorkshire based jewellery designer, Andrew Geoghegan has certainly had a busy summer. Not only has the designer achieved not one, but two nominations as a finalist in the 2014 UK Watch and Jewellery Awards, but he has also been selected to become one of the elite few to catch the attention of a new specialized portal, the F&L Designer Guides. 

The UK Watch and Jewellery Awards is one of the most highly anticipated and coveted awards ceremonies of the year in the world of jewellery and watches. Andrew Geoghegan’s latest Cannele range has been nominated as a finalist in both the ‘Designer of the Year’ and ‘Bridal Collection of the Year’ categories. 

As exciting as these nominations are this designer is no stranger to awards. Already named ‘Designer of the Year’ in 2013, Andrew could be said to be at the top of his game. However, one of his most recent, and perhaps more notable achievements, has been his selection to be named as one of the UK’s top bespoke designers featured in the F&L Designer Guides. 

The F&L Designer Guides is a hand selected group of the best of the UK’s bespoke engagement ring designers. Each designer has been chosen due to their excellence in the field of commissioned designs and the unique and original pieces they create. Andrew Geoghegan caught the eye of the F&L Designer Guides because of the “mystery that he inspires with his engagement rings. His stone setting wizardry is deployed in all his commissions”, and, “even the non-visible areas of his pieces are highly polished and crafted with exquisite quality.” 

2014 is certainly shaping up to be a significant year for this designer and is already reflecting the fruits of his extensive labour. Andrew Geoghegan’s most recently earned accolades are hugely well earned. The designer’s passion and heart that he puts into all his designs is a unique element that can be both felt and seen in all his creations.
