Initiative launched to help local charities.

24, September 2014: Mediaraft's #propelyourcharity initiative is set to help local Charity's with digital marketing and social media training.

Amidst the recent widespread charity focus across all media channels, Walsall based business "Mediaraft" have been inspired to offer free training and services to a select number of local charities commencing in November. The initiative is geared up to help local charities promote themselves more effectively using their "in-house" team, the training sessions will teach them the importance of social media and how to use it to drive donations.

The "#propelyourcharity" initiative will be giving away thousands of pounds worth of tailored promotional strategies and techniques designed to help charities to extend the reach of their online campaigns? in various ways to increase funding for and awareness of, their important initiatives.

The idea was hatched when one of the team, a marketing intern "Peter Hoang" (University of Leicester) was nominated to do the ALS Ice Bucket challenge:

"I was researching local charities to donate to for this challenge, however I was rather saddened to see that although the charities were working for such amazing causes, their online presence and social media left much to be desired. Although the services provided will vary slightly depending on the charities needs and goals, #propelyourcharity clients can expect 1 hour of support per week, private training sessions, social media management, digital marketing and much more over a period of 1-6 months dependant on how much support they require.

Mediaraft will also be publishing a free e-book specifically for charities, to help them understand why digital marketing is so crucial to utilise in todays digital age.
