The Sparkling City of Erie

12, November 2014: Lake Erie Pennsylvania – The All-America city Award is considered to be one of the most prestigious awards that a city can receive. In 1972, this title was won by what local now refer as the Sparkling City, the city of Erie.

Erie got its name, “Sparkling City” due to the sparkling lake of the same name. However, this is not the only reason why tourists flock to Erie.
