06, February 2015: The depth of Andrew Geoghegan’s designs is equal to that of the brilliance found within the stones he uses. When Andrew introduced L and me to this princess cut diamond engagement ring we were mesmerised by the flawless cut of the stones and the astonishing setting they had been moulded into. Named the Triumph, this design encapsulates the past, present and future within the brilliant stones and is certainly true to its name.
This design would be a triumph for any designer!
Andrew is one of the first designers I think of when it comes to interesting settings. His use of an open setting for the biggest stone is a perfect example of the strength of his craftsmanship and really emphasises the unparalleled beauty of the stone. This princess cut diamond engagement ring is a one of my favourite pieces by Andrew; its elegance defines him as an artist as well as a designer.
Andrew has many strings to his bow when it comes to designing and L said that she would feel extremely confident having him as her bespoke designer as he appeals to her on both a craftsmanship and artistic level. We were equally as bewitched by the rest of his commissions as we were with this design and are keen to see what he creates next.
