Spanish for Fun! Cary uses a unique Spanish-immersion model designed to reinforce daily lessons that encourage everyday use of Spanish. Its programs develop cognitive, social/emotional, linguistic and motor skills in a nurturing and safe environment appropriate for infants and children of preschool age.

Its curriculum is play-based, letting students learn in a natural and fun way. Spanish for Fun! Cary’s staff recognizes how important play is to a child’s development. We follow the National Association for the Education of Young Children’s belief that, along with reducing stress and childhood obesity, play helps children to develop cognitive vocabulary acquisition and social skills.

What makes the program unique is its mix of Spanish immersion, international and early education creative curriculum paired with the school’s emotional development methods. The school’s bilingual teachers are trained in the latest acquisition teaching methods and work to cultivate relationships with parents through communicating with and involving them regularly.

Spanish for Fun! Cary’s staff works under the leadership of director Cynthia De Amat, who started at the school as an assistant teacher in its toddler class in 2010. She found her passion in early childcare education as she obtained her needed credentials and is near to earning her early childhood development associate degree.

She has worked closely with her staff to achieve goals like obtaining the five-stars accreditation and supporting her team in continuing their education.
