TouchUp Inc. is excited to announce it will be hosting Compton's first all-night eSports Tournament, Compton Clash on Thursday, February 7, 2019, at the state-of-the-art Douglas Dollarhide Community Center in downtown Compton.

The fundraising event is open to the public and promises to be a fun-filled day of comedy, music, great food, and drinks. All proceeds will go towards opening a state-of-the-art technology and business incubator for Compton residents.

TouchUp Inc., dba iTouchUp is a non-profit organization with a mission to reduce recidivism among youths the age of 16 to 24 through business and technology training. By providing Life-Skills Training, Tutoring, Counseling, Assessment, and more, iTouchUp has been able to help a lot of African American youths transition successfully to accomplished adults.

iTouchUp anticipates an attendance of about 10,000 people. Special guests at the event will include Comedy of HBO and Showtime Veteran David Raibon, Comedy Legend Evan Lionel, Comedian Edwonda White, and Rap Legend Warren G.

"This is a big undertaking for our organization as well as the City of Compton. We are excited to team up with Compton to bring the city a comprehensive week of fun, education and exposure to technology," says Caryn Brandon, Founder & CEO of iTouchUp. "We're bringing in some heavy hitting technology companies to inspire Compton youth on a path towards the technology arena. It is imperative we impress upon young people in underserved communities that the business and technology career fields are where sustainable income will be found in the near and distant future."

Compton Clash will be a highly visible event with exclusive features on ABC TV, print media and radio. The event will also be live streamed on YouTube, Twitch and our websites. Organizers of the event are also hoping to attract companies like Activision, Google, Microsoft, Sony Playstation, X-Box, Nintendo, Twitch, EA Games, Lightform, Riot Games, Red Bull and Monster Beverages for sponsorship and participation.
