Developmentnow partners with Alghanim Industries on Retail Apps

In December 2011, X-cite by Alghanim Electronics, an already award-winning retail chain, launched their e-commerce portal xcite.com. Xcite.com supported thousands of products and customers while complementing a robust social media presence. A little over a year later, they took a step towards mobile. 

Developmentnow is proud to partner with the X-cite team to create the iOS and Android application that is “Xcite by Alghanim Electronics.” 

The app features features all of X-cite’s current products and promotions, and is one of the few application to fully support Arabic and English users. The app not only offers a translated version, but a unique UI experience for those of us that read right to left. 

Currently the iOS application is the #1 lifestyle app and top 5 overall app in Kuwait after being live for less than 2 months.
