North Virginia Plumbing Contractor Supports Children’s Medical Hospital

A plumbing contractor company based in North Virginia is starting a new campaign for autumn, looking to donate money to the Children’s National Medical Hospital, home to the Children’s Research Institute, and the George Washington University School of Medicine. Throughout the month of October the company will donate $10 to the hospital for every $89 tune-up fixture they perform.

A spokesman from the plumbing contractor company said that their generosity is fuelled by a new confidence in their heating and cooling fixtures, for which they guarantee a full refund if the customer is not satisfied. He added that up to 62 percent of heating and cooling breakdowns are happening every year because of a lack of regular maintenance to the systems in place, and the company’s new service plans to change this.

The company, which is family run, has stated that the cause is close to their hearts, as they help the region with paediatric, cancer, cardiac and critical care, being the main referral centre for the region. The company are eager to give some of that help back, contributing to the hospital, which has around 360,000 visits per year, and thus helping to save many children’s lives with their new campaign.

The Children’s National Medical Hospital, often referred to as DC Children’s Hospital, has been dedicated to the cause of children’s medical attention since 1870. It is home to the Children’s research institute, which benefits the field of children’s medical research year after year, as well as the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Paediatric Surgical Innovation. The hospital is listed as one of the top U.S paediatric hospitals by both the U.S News & World Report and the Leapfrog group. The hospital accommodates patients with 303 beds at the facility, as well as eight regional outpatient centres, making it one of the most effective paediatric hospitals in Washington, DC.
