Hot Springs, Arkansas is known as a vacation paradise for a reason. Just about everything in town is geared toward tourists, and the high costs involved in maintaining attractions means those that do not do a good job taking care of guests do not stay open very long.

“This is a competitive town, and nearly every inch of it is covered with hotels or tourist attractions,” said a spokesman for the Econo Lodge Inn and Suites in Hot Springs, AR. “We certainly couldn’t stay in business if we weren’t at the top of our game, and neither could any of our local tourist attractions, spas or parks. You have to be good to succeed in this town.”

That means visitors to the town cannot make a wrong choice of attractions to visit. It is possible, however, to make a wrong choice of accommodations if you choose one that is not near the attractions that matter most to you.

The Econo Lodge is conveniently located near Oaklawn Park, near Pirate’s Cove Adventure Golf and close enough to enjoy Lake Hamilton too. The hotel’s spokesman said the location is ideal.

“We couldn’t think of a better location for a hotel. That’s why we’re here,” he said.

The hotel stays on top of its game by offering great television service, in-room coffee makers and more. Selected rooms even feature a balcony, adding an additional touch of elegance. Refrigerators and microwaves are also available in some rooms.
