NEW YORK - July 9, 2009 - AXA Art Insurance Corporation announced that Alexander C. “Sandy” Kemper, has been elected as a member of its Board of Directors. With the appointment of Mr. Kemper, the AXA Art board now consists of 15 esteemed members.

Dr. Ulrich Guntram, Chairman of AXA Art welcomed Sandy Kemper to the board and noted, “As we take AXA Art U.S. to new frontiers, we greatly value the range of experiences and insights of our board members. Alexander C Kemper is Chairman of the Board of The Collectors Fund, a private equity fund focused on alternative asset classes. Kemper is also Chairman of the Board of Pollenware, a leader in the next generation of trade settlement companies.
