HP wins Hat Trick of Awards at the Insight Partner Forum

28th February 2014: HP was the big winner at yesterday’s Insight Partner Forum, scooping three gongs at the firm’s annual Partner Awards.

At an awards ceremony hosted at the Hilton London Syon Park, HP scooped the awards for Corporate Sector Partner of the Year and Enterprise Sector Partner of the Year, before taking the prize for Overall Partner of the Year for their concerted efforts within the Insight Partner Network during 2013.

Now in their 6th year, the annual awards were announced at a ceremony following the Insight Partner Forum in London where the trusted IT advisor talked about its plans for 2014 and introduced its new President, Wolfgang Ebermann, to gathered partners.

Based on votes from the Insight UK sales teams, Lenovo, Cisco, Symantec, Dell, HP, Polycom and BOX were among those recognised for their endeavours in 2013.

Lenovo picked up the award for Volume Partner of the Year, with Cisco being recognised for its efforts as Value Partner of the Year.

For the second year in a row Symantec took the Award in the Software category.

Praised for its work within the Public Sector, Dell topped the list here, while the award for Specialist Partner of the Year went to Polycom.

In the New Partner of the Year category both Juniper and Lumension were shortlisted for a solid performance in 2013, but it was BOX, who offer secure solutions for content access, sharing and collaboration, who came out on top.

This year, it was Breda Irish of Dell who was praised for her sterling efforts as she was crowned Partner Account Manager of the Year.

“Our partner ecosystem is extremely important to Insight as a business,” said Justin Griffiths VP Product Management, Cloud and Ecommerce, EMEA. “These awards recognise those who have shown outstanding support to both Insight and our clients over the past year, helping to secure our position as their trusted advisor."
