The new single – written by Paolo Nutini and produced by Paolo and Ethan Johns (Kings of Leon, Ryan Adams) – is the perfect introduction to Paolo’s new record.
His mesmerising and inimitable voice has never sounded better and this is portrayed to its full extent on "Candy" – an exquisite and poignant song. It’s still hard to believe that Paolo is only 22-years-old. Paolo showcases his lyrical prowess throughout Sunny Side Up and has struck a fine balance with upbeat songs that carry a true emotional heft.
