Hillgate Travel Ensures Continuous PCI Compliance with Tripwire Configuration Audit & Control Software

27th July, 2009: Hillgate Travel has purchased ‘Tripwire Express for PCI’ in order to meet and maintain the international information security standards set by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS).

Operating in Central London, Hillgate Travel is a top ten UK business travel management company that arranges all the travel necessities for several hundred clients many of whom are instantly recognisable leading brands in the financial sector, as well as providing travel approval systems for internal client use.

Processing in excess of 20,000 card transactions a month, Hillgate Travel is required to conform to the regulatory standards intended to protect customer data, and therefore it needed to ensure that its IT systems were capable of handling sensitive credit card data.

Tripwire Express for PCI addresses the PCI specification with enhanced file integrity monitoring in real time by identifying undesirable, unauthorised change that puts the infrastructure, and therefore cardholder data, at risk. The change is highlighted as unauthorised or non-compliant in an online, configurable dashboard for quick, easy investigation and remediation.
