Dr. Bahareh Fazilat, a leading expert in laparoscopic surgical techniques, joins the Gunn Towbin Center in Orange County.

The Gunn Towbin Center is proud to welcome Dr. Bahareh Fazilat as the newest member of their medical team. As a specialist in minimally invasive gynecological procedures, Fazilat brings a wealth of experience to the center and to their patients.

After completing her OB/GYN residency at Bridgeport/Yale New Haven Health in Connecticut, Dr. Fazilat gained additional experience with a fellowship in Gynecologic Laparoscopic Minimally Invasive Surgery at The Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York.

Dr. Fazilat is certified in Gynecologic Endoscopic Surgery by the American Association of
Gynecological Laparoscopic Surgeons. She is also certified in Advanced Operative Gynecologic Laparoscopy.

“Women should know that they don’t have to live with pelvic pain or heavy periods,” Fazilat commented. “Our new procedures will usually eliminate the pain and the underlying problems that many women thought were incurable.”
