Langdale Hotel and Spa continues to invest in hotel accommodation despite economic slowdown

The Langdale Estate, which began life as a small woollen mill in the 17th Century is now home to one of the Lake District’s most sought after and contemporary hotel destinations thanks to continuing support from Barclays Commercial Bank in Manchester.

During the previous two winter periods, substantial backing from Barclays Commercial has enabled the Langdale Hotel and Spa to complete two phases of bedroom refurbishment. The third phase is now set to take place this winter which will see all 57 bedrooms completed to a very high standard including some feature rooms like The Attic Room making a break from that normally found in Lake District Hotels
