The line of glasses created by Bormioli Rocco conquers the jury at the Sau Paulo international exhibition devoted to domestic and gift objects.

Bormioli Rocco wins in Brazil: Sorgente, its line of glassware has won the prize for design in the Domestic Utensils category at the House & Gift Fair.

The awards ceremony took place in Sau Paulo’s Museum of Modern Art, in the presence of the Italian consul and vice-consul and various representatives of the Italian Foreign Trade Institute and the Italy-Brazil Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Italian style and the art of glassmaking combine in the Sorgente line of glasses, whose design creativity won the jury’s plaudits.
The gently irregular shapes evoke nature’s forms, expressing both solidity and nobility. The curved lines transmit the idea of freshness and purity symbolised by spring water. The transparency is so total that it feels like holding a piece of rock crystal in your hand.

Sorgente glassware is practical and functional, conceived for both domestic and professional use. In additional to the transparent and blue versions, the new Multicolor Sorgente also offers a choice of orange, green, blue and purple. The line is completed by ice cream bowls and a carafe.

This prize provides further confirmation that passion for design, innovation in form, and research into materials are three recurrent features in all the company’s products.
