Job Overview

Developing & implementing carbon reduction programmes for Envido’s clients that deliver quantifiable carbon, £000’s & KWH savings.

Main responsibilities

•Delivering carbon efficiency and management services to clients leading to sustainable reductions in carbon emissions
•Analysing carbon consumption patterns and identify opportunities for reduction
•Developing technical and strategic solutions for energy efficiency issues
•Maintaining expert knowledge on Climate Change policy (such as the CRC, GHG Reporting Guidance, Climate Change Act)
•Conduct legislation reviews of clients liabilities to the CRC & EPBD
•Some Environmental Management System (ISO 14001) implementation support may be required in the first year of the job but this is unlikely to be an ongoing part of the role.

Business Development Responsibilities (20 - 40%)
•Speaking at Events: roundtables, web conferences, workshops etc
•Researching new companies/ industries
•Attending networking events
•Reviewing existing Envido accounts to spot opportunities to deliver further services
•Completing Tenders & RFI
•Provide pre-sales support to sales team

Experience and Skills

•Postgraduate qualification - MEng, MSc, MA, PHD in Environmental/Engineering discipline
•Attention to detail
•Highly numerate and able to manipulate large volumes of data within Excel quickly and accurately
•Preferably currently operating as a consultant although candidates from a process, building design, communications or engineering background who think they can adapt their knowledge to a consultancy role will be considered
•Project management skills with proven experience of project completion and successful delivery
•Good communication skills, a team player and the ability to work to deadlines
•Self-starter capabilities and the ability to work under your own initiative
