Virginia Plastic Surgeon Wins First Place at Dancing with the Fredericksburg Stars

Dr. Howard Heppe of Plastic Surgery Services of Fredericksburg took first place at the Dancing with the Fredericksburg Stars event.

Dr. Howard Heppe of Plastic Surgery Services of Fredericksburg, a plastic surgery practice in Fredericksburg, VA, won first place at the third annual Dancing with the Fredericksburg Stars event. The dance competition occurred on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at the Dodd Auditorium at the University of Mary Washington, and proceeds endow performing arts scholarships for regional UMW students.

Ten of Fredericksburg’s community leaders participated in the event, but Dr. Heppe received the Mirror Ball Award for best performance as well as Best Posture. Dr. Heppe performed the cha-cha-cha to ZZ Top’s “Sharp Dressed Man” with Strictly Ballroom’s Melissa Scott. Their performance received comments from the judges about superior footwork, rhythm and leading.

Dr. Heppe was excited to perform at the event, “The arts have always been an integral part of my life. My mother was a classically trained pianist and my wife is an artist. In addition, my career is focused on aesthetics. I see dance as another creative and exciting way to express oneself”.
