Vine.co announces beta release to enable creation of longer vine videos

In a recent announcement coming from vine.co, the site has now introduced ‘beyond the vine’ project which actually means that people can now be able to create and post longer videos than just six seconds. A representative of the site maintained, “We are pleased to announce the beta release wherein a vine video can now become a trailer that projects itself directly to a mini-movie.”

Throwing more light on the new beta release, the representative also revealed that people now have the freedom to create longer duration vines extending up to 140 seconds. He informed, “New features have also been added amongst which includes full-screen canvas for better viewing experiences. Although we will still continue to urge people to make the six seconds vines we hope that the longer videos will bring a new wave of creative spirit and enthusiasm.”

The representative also informed that the site is also exploring monetization opportunities for the creators of the vines. This, he expects, will fuel their creative energy and help bring out more of their talents. For this we have even roped in Twitter’s Amplify Open program and Niche to empower the creators.”

Sources say that there have been a lot of discussions going on among the Vine.co team in recent months about experimenting with longer vine videos. While the six seconds strategy still do attract lots of people with much lengthier vines, people can actually elaborate their ideas and creativities so that the videos can be used to greater effect.

The representative later commented, “We at Vine are working very hard to deliver every demand from our community of followers and users.
