Chicago Water Damage Restoration Experts Aid Hurricane Matthew Flood Victims

Hilton Head, SC; 28, October 2016: In the wake of the devastation left behind by Hurricane Matthew, ServiceMaster Restoration by Zaba deployed part of their flood damage restoration team to the Carolinas to begin assisting local hotels, businesses and homeowners in their recovery efforts. The Chicago-based water damage restoration company started working on October 10th in North Carolina, and they've migrated their operations to Hilton Head and the surrounding South Carolina region as of October 16th. Recent reports from The Weather Channel noted that in North Carolina alone, "14,000 residents have registered for federal aid" as rivers continue to rise after the hurricane left, flooding many major highways and homes across the state. The devastation is massive since the flood waters forced 3,400 people into 43 North Carolina shelters, as Governor Pat McCrory stated in a press conference last week. The local authorities have been struggling greatly to help everyone affected by the hurricane recover from their losses.
