Kickstarter Campaign Launched To Fund Online Clothing Store – ‘Second Frills’

Miami, FL - Second Frills, an online clothing store selling discounted new & gently used, designer pre-assembled outfits, to those less fortunate, has officially launched its Kickstarter campaign. The Kickstarter campaign aims to garner widespread support and financial backing to finance expansion of the Company’s product lines, marketing and distribution to a mass audience.

Second Frills is an online store that sells new and gently used, famous name brand clothing at a significant discount, to help those less fortunate. Clothes from Second Frills come assembled in pre-matched outfits. Thus, there is an entire outfit ready for the customer to purchase. It’s as simple as clicking a button and being able to choose an entire interview outfit in its entirety. All of the Company’s outfits come with at least one top (some have two) and a bottom, or come as a dress. “Some of our outfits have additional surprises [such as] purses, belts, jewelry, and shoes. We own keeping it fresh and new for our customers every minute of the day,” says project creator and store founder Kelley Stanczyk.

Central to the Company’s business model is its belief in its people, products, processes, and communities and they show it by investing in them. The Company strives to make more than just profit, it seeks to make a difference in the lives of those that we serve using the power of fashion, fun and frugality.

“I was inspired to create this store by one of my dear friends [who] holds an annual prom dress donation event every year, where she collects hundreds of beautiful prom dresses for those who could not otherwise afford them, ” Said Stanczyk. “I thought there had to be a better way for people in need to purchase clothing. My hope and desire for my creation "Second Frills", is that it will do just that – provide a platform for more affordable name brand clothing.”

Kickstarter is a funding platform for creative projects. Everything from films, games, and music to art, design, and technology. ‘Backers’ who support a project on Kickstarter get an inside look at the creative process, and help that project come to life. All ‘Backers’ of the Second Frills Kickstarter campaign who pledge $25 or more will receive an outfit from Second Frills based on their pledge level.
