With the introduction of the new Spring/Summer 17 Lookbook, The Idle Man continue to develop their own-label brand. Moving away from the country-weekend inspired lookbook from our Autumn/Winter 16 collection, The Idle Man have honed their basics and modernised their classic pieces.

With bright, spring pastel colours that give your wardrobe that much needed boost, mixed with sleek and contemporary classics that keep your style in check, this collection emulates The Idle Man’s progression from seasons past.

“This latest seasonal release is the strongest to date where simplicity is key, blurring the lines between wardrobe essentials and standout fashion pieces . We wanted to mix and match styles, play around with layers and make simple alterations to create a versatile yet effortless look.” - Rob Evans, Buyer.

Inspired by the modern man, this Spring/Summer 17 collection incorporates subtle colours with bold pattern and print. With a few simple tweaks, you can change your look, allowing for either a classic feel, or a trend lead, layered look.

Standout pieces, such as the 12 wale corduroy jacket, straight leg raw hemmed men’s jeans, zip-through overshirts and pink coach jacket combine the shapes and colours of the season perfectly.

“This collection is the perfect progression for The Idle Man own label range. With a focus, as always, on core staples, The Idle Man have managed to produce trend lead, yet wearable pieces, that will incorporate into any wardrobe.” Tom Courcey, Editor.

A mixture of fabrics have been used across the collection, from heavy cotton utility tops and our 100% cotton breton striped shirt to lightweight viscose revere collar shirting. A collection that encapsulates classic styling while including colours such as pink and yellow, is definitely one that can be easily incorporated into any wardrobe.
