Caribbean Soaps Celebrates 16th Anniversary; Launches Brand New Website

San Juan, PR; 28, August 2017: Caribbean Soaps, the leader in the manufacture of handmade soap and body products in Puerto Rico, today announces the sixteenth anniversary of the company’s founding, and the launch of a new website in support of its growing presence.

Caribbean Soaps was founded on August, 2001 by chemical engineer Alexis Sotomayor. After working more than a decade for a major soft drink company, he decided to start his own business.

From their humble beginnings in a garage in 2001, they have grown to be the largest handcrafted soap maker in the island.

In 2004, Caribbean Soaps moved to a building to house a shop and retail store where customers can watch as the product are made.

Now in 2017, the products can be found in numerous local supermarket chains, health food stores and souvenir shops.

The updated company website (www.caribbeansoaps.com) offers more than 100 products including 25 different varieties of handmade soaps, coconut candles, massage oils and body creams.
