Dr. Carriero is Dual Certified in foot, reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Foot  and Ankle Surgeons. Dr. Carriero is section Chief at Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas and a Member of the Medical Executive Committee at Scripps Ambulatory Surgery Center. He specializes in podiatric surgery, foot and ankle trauma, congenital deformities, and degenerative conditions.
