MINNEAPOLIS, MN – Rebel Filmworks is hosting a Battle of the Bands at the Fine Line Music Cafe in downtown Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Saturday, September 12, 2009.

In preparation for the shooting of its’ new movie, ‘Full Throttle’, Rebel Filmworks is calling on all bands to prepare to battle. Searching for a song that identifies and embraces the spirit of the movie, Rebel Filmworks is inviting bands to submit an original signature song, by August 22, 2009, to be considered as the rock anthem for the movie.

Full Throttle is an independent action movie set in the exciting world of superbike racing, and focuses on Jimmy Bosch, a Superbike Racer, who is charismatic, brash, and fast – very fast. Jimmy and his older brother Jake, racing as a team called the Killer B’s, have set the racing world on its ear. In a flash, Jimmy’s world is turned upside down when Jake is killed in a racing accident. Lost and despondent, Jimmy must learn to trust again, rediscover the fire of racing, and battle to win the season’s last race.
