Bangkok, Thailand, July 22, 2019 – Lexicon Limited, Bangkok, Thailand’s leading English and Thai-language digital marketing provider, has acquired Next Step Systems, a Hong Kong-based company that specializes in creating customized IT software solutions with a major focus on advanced website development and customizing APIs for mobile and web-based applications.
By introducing these new services into Lexicon’s existing Digital PR and Branded Storytelling suite of services, the company has expanded its offering to provide a truly unique one-stop offering in Thailand.
Managing Director, David Norcross, said of the acquisition: “This move reflects a booming market and our confidence in the range of storytelling services we’re offering. We believe that these new tech services provide the perfect platform for our clients to tell their story digitally. What’s more, we’re futureproofing the company by allocated a dedicated R&D budget to the TechLab to ensure we remain ahead of the curve.”
Next Step Systems founder and TechLab director Maxime Schmit added, “We build fully customized tech solutions and Lexicon builds fully customized storytelling solutions. The synergy was obvious to me from the start and we’ve been working with Lexicon on side projects for a while. Joining Lexicon seemed like a logical next step for all parties and I am very excited about both the potential projects we have in the pipeline, as well as the clients we’re both already on retainer with. Both set of clients will receive advanced services for less than the market rate and this price and quality-focused offering gives us a truly unique position in the market.”
The newly expanded company is presently on the lookout for office space to accommodate its quickly growing head count. While Norcross insists there are no plans at present to expand overseas, he does admit that entering into the Singapore or Hong Kong markets is not beyond the realm of possibility, although the focus for the next 18 months is going to be on securing as much business as possible in Bangkok as possible.
