Fort Lauderdale, FL ( Worldpressrelease ) August 13, 2009 - Scorpion Performance, Inc.(http://www.scorpionperformance.com), an American manufacturer of precision parts for high performance engines, congratulates NMCA Edelbrock Drag Racing drivers Troy Coughlin and Jim Blair for winning again at what has been dubbed the All Star Nationals this past weekend at the zMAX Dragway in Charlotte, North Carolina. This was their second win in as many races.

While Troy Coughlin won in the Scorpion Performance Pro Street Class, which is the top class in the NMCA series, Scorpion-sponsored Jim Blair took the win in the Mickey Thompson Super Street 10.5W Class. Scorpion Performance sponsors Blair who is a two-time world champion and is leading the points again this year.

This was the inaugural NMCA Drag Racing event at the new zMAX Dragway. Visit the NMCA website at http://www.nmcadigital.com/forums/showthread.php?t=11925 for the full story. Winning back-to-back races is difficult anytime, but especially when the second race is at a new, untested track. Everyone at Scorpion congratulates Coughlin, Blair and their teams for their hard work and resulting victories.

Scorpion Performance manufacturers millions of high performance engine parts that are marketed and distributed through its retail division, Scorpion Racing Products. Visit http://www.scorpionracingproducts.com to see the entire Scorpion product line and download their new catalog.
