UpFashion Announces Commencement of Operations

Gurgaon, Haryana; January 4, 2016: UpFashion, a Gurgaon, India based online fashion portal has opened gates for people across the globe. The site provides informative fashion articles as well as latest news related to the Industry. The site started publishing write ups a few days ago; however, announced commencement of operations today via social media.

The site, cofounded by Saumitra Singh and Uphaar Dhunna, aims to bridge the gap between the fashion world of glitters that seem to attract the most, but generally associated with a handful few and the masses. When contacted, Saumitra said, “Fashion in India is changing at a blistering pace; however, most are not able to keep track. Even if you are aware of the latest development, the common man is not able to relate with the changing trends and adopt them at the right time to move on with the changing Fashion. We felt the need of a platform dedicated to the same and came up with UpFashion.”

Other than providing technical and informative articles along with latest in Fashion trends and News, the platform would also be guiding people on styles and cloths that they can opt for and wear according to their age, body type, budget and more. Confirming the same, Uphaar said, “Yes we are in the process of collaborating with some of the well-known stylists of the industry, who would be providing detailed tips to our viewers on what they should wear on different occasions according to season, body type, weight, color complexion and other variables.”

The platform is attracting viewers from India as well as a number of other nations across the globe including US, UK, Israel and New Zealand among others. Sources also confirmed that the platform will be launching its own fashion brand as well in near future. The details related to the same are expected to be released in the coming months.
