School Travel Companies Wishing To Attend WYSE Dublin Event May Register Now

School travel companies wishing to attend the September event being held in Ireland by the World Youth Student and Educational Travel Confederation (WYSE) should present their registrations for it now, a speciality portal reports.

According to HospitalityNet.com, the organisation expects this event to be the biggest to date in the youth travel sector, and have already received applications from over 800 candidates and 450 companies across 120 countries worldwide. As such, school travel companies wishing to ensure a place in the conference are urged by both the company and the portal in question to turn in their registrations sooner rather than later.

The Dublin conference will take place from September 23 to September 26, and see its participants engage in a number of panels, discussions and networking events with the aim of strengthening this sector of the travel industry.

All registered delegates will, for instance, be given the opportunity to participate in pre-arranged and pre-booked business meetings, where they will have the chance to network with 34 other companies, in 20-minute long, face-to-face sessions. Alternatively, they can visit one of the 30-minute ‘Tech Tables’, where they will be given tips, tricks and information on how to use the latest technology available to the sector and apply it to the context of their company. Finally, attendees will be free to browse the ‘Travel Market’, where school travel companies and other representatives of the sector will be exhibiting and offering networking opportunities.

The 2014 edition will mark the 23rd anniversary of this conference, which attests to its importance in the overall school travel panorama. Sources close to WYSE have stated that they are particularly excited about this year’s edition, as numbers show that by next year the number of young travellers will exceed the number of business travellers, which could bring about a boom for the industry.

Current figures show that over 20 percent of all travellers are under the age of thirty.
