New York Stamp house, Cherrystone Auctions, has posted some of the details of its upcoming March 2018 Public Auction on its website. The action will be held from 10:00 AM Tuesday, March 20 up to 4:00 PM Wednesday, March 21, 2018.

Cherrystone Auctions is all set to host its second public auction this year in its New York City galleries on 119 West 57th Street on March 20-21, 2018. Featured on the company's website as a "public auction taking place live," the upcoming stamp sale is currently ongoing as Cherrystone continues receiving pre-auction bids via phone, email, fax, mail, and its registered auction agents. With 1,765 lots on offer, the upcoming public auction is marginally larger than the preceding February 2018 sale, which featured a total of 1,689 lots. The lots are split into various regional categories including individual European countries and colonies. As usual there is a huge assortment of philatelic items from the United States.

Cherrystone's March 2018 Public Auction will proceed in four separate sessions. The first session will start at 10:00 AM and end at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, March 20. This session will feature lots 1-453 from the United States, Albania, China, and France & Colonies. The second session will start at 1:00 PM and last till the end of Tuesday, March 20. It will feature lots 454-895 from Germany, Great Britain, and British Commonwealth. Featuring lots 896-1288, the third session will at 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM on Wednesday, March 21. Philatelic collectibles from Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, and Romania will be auctioned during this session. And finally the last session will start at 1:00 PM and last till the end of Wednesday, March 21. Lots 1289-1765 will be featured then with philatelic offerings from Russia, Switzerland, and Western Ukraine; including Large Lots & Collections.
