New Machining Technology Could Benefit 3DesignCenter

A new line of machining technology being demonstrated at this year’s Westec Manufacturing exhibition is sure to benefit 3DesignCenter, by streamlining computer-aided manufacturing.

A software development company based in Clearwater Florida is set to unveil their latest in a line of CAD-CAM software in use every day by 3D design companies, at this year’s annual exhibition taking place in Los Angeles, California on October 15th, 16th and 17th. The company has just recently released version 26 of their software, which enhances the functionality of the machining aspects of the software, including a variety of axis part making features.

The Westec Manufacturing exhibition is an annual event defined as a manufacturer’s think tank where creatives, visionaries and design strategists collaborate in order to bring forward groud-breaking new products for the global market. It is an event set up for networking, showcasing new technology and putting development and solution on the center stage.

Amongst the new features of the developer’s new CAD-CAM software, users can now set multiple functions to any single model, using a brand new dynamic machining functionality. Dynamic machining also allows software users to edit the properties of these multiple operations on-the-fly, saving hours of time since users do not have to re-pick geometrical features repeatedly to the same effect. All dynamic machining functions are wizard driven, improving efficiency and removing the need for lots of programming guesswork, whilst giving users high quality tool paths, providing a unique quality in CAM software abilities.

The design company will also be showcasing their new high-speed adaptive roughing strategy, adding further improvements to efficiency, as well as revealing other CAD-CAM products to compliment the new software. With these products aimed at 3D design specialists relying on the functionality and the efficiency of computer-aided manufacturing programs, this new line of software will no doubt benefit 3DesignCenter, who offer 3D engraving and 3D trophy design to their customers.
