On Tuesday, April 28, 2020, as a way to say “Thank You” for their selfless dedication to the community, Bergen County Rotary Clubs from Hackensack, Englewood, Maywood and Teaneck joined together to provide free meals to healthcare workers, police officers and first responders.
Healthcare workers administering coronavirus (covid-19) testing at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Rd, Paramus, NJ 07652 and Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, 230 East Ridgewood Avenue, Paramus, New Jersey 07652 were given a free meal. The meals were made available for breakfast at both testing sites.
Hackensack Rotary Club celebrated their 100th year Anniversary on May 6, 2020. The annivesary celebration gala has been postponed to May 2021.
The Rotary mission is to provide service to others, promote integrity, and advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace through its fellowship of business, professional, and community leaders. Their Motto – “Service above Self”.
